Event Information
Programs will be available at the entrances to seating areas.
Those wishing to photograph a graduate when he or she receives the diploma should note the diagram in the program showing the area reserved for photographers. Since graduates are called in the program listing order, go to the Photography Area just minutes prior to the name being called, and leave promptly after taking the photograph to provide everyone a fair opportunity. A photograph of each graduate is also made by a professional photographer; an offer to purchase is mailed separately.
If during Commencement special assistance is needed, please ask an usher or go to the Information Table in the entrance of the Robins Center (Lobby Level).
The University asks that you DO NOT visit a graduate on the arena floor at any time during the Commencement Exercises.
If an emergency occurs which requires contact with one of the graduates, please seek help from one of the police officers on duty or ask an usher for help.
Commencement Exercises are expected to end by 4:30 p.m. for the undergraduate ceremony, by 10:30 a.m. for the School of Continuing Studies ceremony, and by 3:30 p.m. for the School of Law ceremony.
