Commencement Regalia

The deadline to order regalia is March 9th, 2024. For all regalia questions, please contact the Spider Shop at 804-289-8491 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

Undergraduate Regalia

• Black Gown
• Black Mortar Board
• Black Tassel

Stoles provided by the University for Degree/School distinction as follows:

• A&S Bachelor of Arts - white
• A&S Bachelor of Science - gold
• ECRSB BSBA - drab
• Leadership Studies Bachelor of Arts - peacock blue

Additional items obtained through respective departments/organizations may include:

• Academic honor groups and societies - cords or medals
• Leadership role honors/awards - medals
• International students, African-American students, and study abroad participants represented by sash or small flags of native or host country
• Golden Key - cords or sash
• Scholar Athletes - mortar board ribbon
• Westhampton College - piece of the class flags

Any other items must be approved by the Regalia Subcommittee of the Commencement Committee.
