    Richmond College Culmination & Reception, 2–3:30 p.m.

    Breed Pavillion B & C, Queally Center

    Richmond College welcomes seniors and their families to gather in celebration, reflection, and fellowship during Culmination. This joyful event features a cocktail reception with a delightful variety of hors d’oeuvres, as well as an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Dean Boehman will provide some brief remarks, and our graduates will receive an exclusive gift to celebrate their commencement. Advanced registration is required.

The event will feature heartfelt reflections from our seniors, recognition of family and loved ones that supported them, and conclude with seniors receiving their cords and pins to wear proudly on commencement day.

    Faculty and staff members of Phi Beta Kappa welcome newly inducted students and their families to come by for refreshments, photos, and to pick up your honor cords.

    The University of Richmond History Department welcomes you to its annual Graduation Celebration for History Major and Minors.

    Candlelight Ceremony, 9 p.m.

    Westhampton Lake, Graduates meet at the University Forum

    Candlelight Ceremony, one of the University’s longest-standing traditions, is the last time the senior class comes together before graduation. The night before Commencement, graduates line the banks of Westhampton Lake holding lit candles. A selected graduate will give remarks, students sing the alma mater, and the ceremony is capped off with a brilliant fireworks display.

  • Sunday, May 11

    Graduation Meal, 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

    Heilman Dining Center

    Graduates and their families are invited to join us for a special graduation meal in the Heilman Dining Center to celebrate Commencement. 

    Reservations for Graduation meal tickets are now available on the Graduation Dining site. 

    Baccalaureate, 10 a.m.

    Cannon Memorial Chapel

    Baccalaureate is a multifaith worship service that recognizes the important milestone of graduation as we give thanks for our students and their achievements and look forward to the contributions each will make in the years ahead. All are welcome.

     

    Graduate Walk, 12:15 p.m.

    For graduating seniors, every corner of campus can hold memories of their time at Richmond. The Graduate Walk encourages graduates to relive those moments while winding their way through the iconic campus one last time as students to check-in for Commencement. See the full route.
